I had this idea and completely spur of the moment decided I had to paint
it. I think it turned out really cool, featuring the main characters
with the theme of the game, being alive. I chose to paint the eyes
because as the saying goes “Eyes are the window to the soul”, so it made
sense in my head. Enjoy!

So in the Detroit: Become Human universe, thirium is android blood. It is also a component of red ice

This is never directly stated in game, but I bet that there’s some connection between the red ice drug addicts (Todd, Ortiz) beating their androids. I can almost promise you there is a cut plot thread where one or both of them were harvesting the thirium from their abused androids for red ice production.

And because of David Cage’s terrible writing, he removed all of that (or just plain forgot to put any of it in) so just like Ethan’s blackouts, we have hints of the context and NOTHING ELSE bc Cage doesn’t know how to do content cuts.

Another note/thought on thirium: Apparently it’s this incredibly rare & valuable resource that’s putting America and Russia on a verge of a world war over the Arctic, but it’s common enough for unemployed crack shack denizens in Detroit to make meth-lite with?
