He thinks to himself that he’ll have to have an ogle later, perhaps, and gets on with things

The all the Skyfall business happens and it isn’t until Bond is reinstated to active duty and he’s on his way down to collect some shit from Q that he realizes, hey, he never got a look at Q’s ass

So he meets Q and gets all his equipment and then stands there and waits just a minute because he’s pretty sure Q is going to turn and walk away now, at which point Bond will have a brief ogle and be on his way

Except Q doesn’t leave. He just starts working on something at the table and looks up about a minute later kinda started like, “Sorry, do you need something else?”

Bond shakes his head. “No.”

Q blinks. “Then you’d better be on your way, 007.”

Bond can’t really find a way out of it, so he turns and starts to leave, but gets this itchy sort of feeling like someone is watching him. That feeling has absolutely saved his life in the past, so he looks back and realizes it’s Q who’s watching him

More specifically, watching his ass

He doesn’t look even the slightest bit guilty for having been caught in the act, either. He actually smirks at Bond

And oh, it’s on, then

What follows is surely the most ridiculous ass-ogling odyssey in the history of such a thing existing, in which Bond comes up with increasingly creative ways to get Q to turn the fuck around and Q comes up with increasingly creative ways to not, and Bond doesn’t even care what Q’s ass looks like anymore, it’s just the principle of the thing (he does care, though, and he’s willing to bet Q actually has quite a nice ass, but since Moneypenny refuses to be a team player and take a picture on the sly for him–and honestly, “creepy” is such a relative term–Bond will just have to see for himself. Somehow.)
