Does anyone else ever think about how traditional fiction is categorised by plot/setting (romance, crime, thriller, fantasy) but fanfiction is categorised by the emotions it’s meant to give you (hurt/comfort, fluff, angst, smut)?
Pietro is always saying these things that sound a whole lot to Clint like double entendres–really dirty ones–but whenever Clint calls him on it he’s all ‘oh gosh sorry, English isn’t my first language you know, and that’s really rude you pointing it out like that isn’t it?’ and then Clint feels bad but he doesn’t see Pietro immediately bursting into laughter as soon as Clint leaves the room and Wanda scolding him like ‘he’s gonna figure it out eventually, nobody is THAT stupid’ to which Pietro’s all ‘yes but don’t tell him until at least next week cause I’ve got money in the betting pool for it being next week.’
But then Wanda does tell him because she’s got money on it being this week
