Forgetting who you are to become what somebody needs you to be… maybe that’s what it means to be alive.

That’s something Luther says to Kara when she finds out about Alice, and I think this quote describes the game perfectly. I not only fits Kara, it fits Markus and Connor as well.

Kara became what Alice needed her to be. A mother, a guardian, somebody who really loves her and wants to give her everything a little girl needs. 

Markus became what all the other androids needed him to be. A leader, somebody who gives them hope and fights for them. Somebody who finally brings them freedom, and shows them that they are more than just machines.

Connor became what Hank needed him to be. He was in a very dark place, even thinking about killing himself, and he needed a friend – somebody who gave him hope, cared for him, showed him that his life still had a meaning.

Я редко фанарты рисую, а если рисую это какие-то ебаные недоделки. Ну кто знааает…

WE ARE ALIVE-

I had this idea and completely spur of the moment decided I had to paint
it. I think it turned out really cool, featuring the main characters
with the theme of the game, being alive. I chose to paint the eyes
because as the saying goes “Eyes are the window to the soul”, so it made
sense in my head. Enjoy!
