Daredevil v3 #17 / Superior Iron Man #3
Back in v3 #17 (in a flashback scene to when Nelson & Murdock was just getting started), Foggy assumes that if Matt had his sight back, he’d want to see a recording of his father boxing. So Foggy secretly takes on a case for a brilliant scientist who’s working on technology that could help the blind see again. He surprises Matt, who’s able to get his vision back very briefly and watch the recording (and also properly see Foggy for the first time).
In Superior Iron Man #3, we sort of get Matt’s answer to Foggy’s question. He doesn’t seek out his girlfriend, watch old videos of his father, or even bother to take in the sights of San Francisco. He knows he likely only has a very short window of opportunity, and well, we know what his choice was…
